OMEIAT INSTITUTE TRUST

Our Appeal

Those who spend their wealth (in Allah's way) by night and by day, secretly and publicly - they will have their reward with their Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.     (Al-Quran 2:274)

Dear Brother / Sister in Islam,

Assalamu Alaikkum,

You are aware today in the changed circumtances more numbers of Muslim Students in Tamil Nadu are opting to study a variety of courses such as M.B.B.S., B.E., B.Tech., B.Ed., B.L., B.D.S and Paramedical Courses etc. But education has become costly and unaffordable to the majority of Muslims who are economically weak.

Every year thousands of Muslim Students drop the idea of pursuing Higher / Professional Education due to financial constraint.

To help them out the Organization of Muslim Educational Institutions and Associations of Tamilnadu (OMEIAT) strated a TRUST and has resolved to play a meaningful role in extending financial assistance to the deserving and poor students in time and in full.

The OMEIAT INSTITUTE TRUST awarded scholrship to 28 students to the tune of Rs. 4.5 lakhs at the fage end of the academic year 2007-2008.

During 2008-2009 academic year more than 300 students were given scholorships to the value of Rs. 62 lakhs. This could be possible only with the help of our Muslim Brothers / Sisters.

As many as 400 applications are still pending for want of Funds and we are desperately looking for funds to help them out. It is our bounded duty to help them.

Therefore we appeal to every Muslim Brothers to contribute their Zakat / Sadaqa / Donation for this noble cause. Tiny drops make an Ocean. What ever may be the amount, Please take DD/Cheque in favor of OMEIAT INSTITUTE TRUST and send it to

The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed (of grain) which grown seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies (His reward) for whome He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.    (Al-Quran 2:261)
